As Allu Arjun’s most-awaited ‘Pushpa 2’ has started its box-office record-breaking journey, let’s look at the collection estimate figures for Sukumar’s directorial on day 4.
Pushpa 2 Movie Review

According to the Sacnilk website, ‘Pushpa 2’ is expected to earn Rs 780 crores on day 4 worldwide, and in India, the action flick is likely to earn Rs 141.50 crores, as per the early estimates.

Allu Arjun’s Video Message After Hyderabad Tragedy Receives Backlash; Angry Fans Blame Pushpa 2 Lead

Coming to the present figures, Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ has minted Rs 119.25 crores on day 3, Saturday from India. From Telugu markets the action flick has collected Rs 35 crores on day 3 and from Hindi the movie has collected Rs 73.5 crores.

‘Pushpa 2’ has also collected magnificent numbers from Tamil Nadu on day 3 with Rs 7.5 crores in the kitty and from Karnataka and Malayalam the movie has minted Rs 1.7 crores as per the rough data provided by the Sacnilk website. Currently, the 3-day Indian box office collections for the film stand at Rs 383.7 crores and are expected to rake in more numbers.

The second part, which released across the globe on Thursday with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam, debuted with a historic box office score of Rs 294 crore gross on day one. It broke the record for the highest opening in the history of Indian cinema, which earlier belonged to SS Rajamouli’s “RRR” (Rs 223.5 crore), followed by “Baahubali 2” (Rs 217 crore) and “Kalki 2898 AD” (Rs 175 crore).
Pushpa 2: The Rule grossed over Rs 500 crore during the first three day, making it the first ever Indian film to achieve that feat, said Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of the flick on Saturday. “Thank you, everyone for all your support. And we are so proud that Pushpa 2 is the fastest Rs 500 crore Indian film. We are very happy. There’s a long way to go. The predictions (of the movie’s success) seem to be unimaginable,” he said.
Etimes gave a rating of 3.5 out of 5 for ‘Pushpa 2’ and our review reads, “Sukumar doesn’t just focus on the grandeur of action; he incorporates subtle humour through the quirks and mannerisms of the characters, whether it’s Pushpa Raj, Banwar Singh Shekhawat, or the supporting cast. Each character has a distinct identity that enriches the story. Even when the film seems to linger towards the end, the emotional payoff in the climax redeems it, providing satisfying closure to Pushpa’s internal and external conflicts. Allu Arjun ascends to a new echelon of his career with a transcendent performance. He is firmly in a “god zone,” surpassing expectations and cementing his status as a force to reckon with in Indian cinema. The Jathara sequence is a landmark moment in his career, bound to be celebrated for years to come. Every aspect of his performance during this sequence—his physicality, emotional depth, and sheer energy—is awe-inspiring. The choreography, visuals, and editing amplify the impact of his performance, creating a euphoric high for audiences. In Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun proves yet again that he is not just a star but an artiste who redefines the boundaries of performance. Rashmika Mandanna shines as Srivalli, moving beyond the archetype of a supportive partner. She becomes Pushpa’s emotional anchor, adding layers of resilience and warmth to the narrative. Her chemistry with Pushpa Raj captivates, and their peppy number Peelings is thoroughly entertaining, showcasing their dancing skills.”
Everything being said, ‘Pushpa 2’ is getting only mixed reviews from the Kerala audiences. Even though Allu Arjun enjoys a huge fan base in Kerala, the Malayali audiences are not satisfied with the Sukumar’s directorial. Criticisms are also aimed at Fahadh Faasil’s character in the sequel which is not said to be up to the mark. Earlier in a media interaction, the actress Nazriya said that ‘Pushpa 2’ will be a complete Fahadh Faasil show. She said that ‘Pushpa 1’ was simply a teaser for what’s awaiting the audiences in the sequel.
Starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil and others in the lead, the movie is expected to mint more numbers in the coming days.
