My childhood friend Namit Malhotra, someone so passionate about this project, has brought together the best of all artists, the creative team, and the crew. Ranbir revealed that he has already completed shooting for Part 1 of the two-part franchise, with Part 2 to follow soon. It’s a film that teaches us about Indian culture – family dynamics and husband-wife dynamics.”

He wrote, “More than a decade ago, I embarked on a noble quest to bring this epic, which has ruled billions of hearts for over 5000 years, to the big screen. Today, I am thrilled to see it taking shape beautifully.” Malhotra also revealed the planned release dates for the two parts: Part 1 in Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.
