Jude Bellingham’s reaction to Federico Valverde’s stunner is going viral.
Real Madrid star Federico Valverde scored a mind-blowing goal in the LaLiga clash against Sevilla on Sunday. After Los Blancos registered a 4-1 victory in the home fixture, Jude Bellingham lauded Valverde in a humorous way. The Uruguayan international lit up the Santiago Bernabeu with a long-range screamer in the first half. His goal doubled the lead for Real Madrid after Kylian Mbappe’s opening strike in the 10th minute. Carlo Ancelotti jumped off his seat when Valverde registered a powerful shot from outside the box. Sevilla goalkeeper Alvaro Fernandez attempted a full-stretched dive on his left but failed to stop the ball.
It all started from a short corner which Eduardo Camavinga played into the field. Valverde was entirely unmarked when he received the ball almost 25 yards away from the opposition goal. He took some time to make the space before unleashing a stunner off his right foot.

It was the fifth goal for Federico Valverde in this La Liga season. The 26-year-old appears to have mastered the art of scoring long-rangers. Being a midfielder, he may not be a regular feature in the scoresheet. But whenever he strikes, Valverde always makes it special.
After Real Madrid secured a crucial three points from the home fixture, Federico Valverde dropped some glimpses of the match on Instagram. “Our Christman present. Happy Holidays. Hala Madrid,” he wrote in the caption. Responding to the post, Jude Bellingham commented– “Score a normal goal man.”
Referring to his brilliant strike, after the match Valverde said, “My goal is the result of training and the technical staff’s insistence on implementing it. Things went well and ended with a goal. In the end, we ended the year with a victory. I always try to shoot from outside the penalty area because I am good at that.”
Rodrygo and Brahim Diaz scored the remaining two goals for Real Madrid. With the commanding win at home, Carlo Ancelotti’s side overtook arch-rivals Barcelona to clinch the second spot in the LaLiga table. Real Madrid currently have 40 points in 18 matches. Atletico Madrid remain at the top of the standings with a one-point lead.
