The Staff Selection Commission has issued an official notice regarding the submission of the option-cum-preference form for the
SSC JE Exam 2024
. The link for submission will be available from December 9 to December 13, 2024. Candidates who do not submit their Option-cum-Preference within this period will not be granted another chance to do so, and they will be excluded from the final merit list/selection process.
According to the official notice, candidates who have appeared for Paper-II are instructed to submit their Option-cum-Preference for Post(s)/Organization(s) for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) Examination 2024. This can be done through their individual login pages on the SSC website, where the submission facility will be accessible under the “My Application” tab.
Once the option-cum-preference submission is completed, candidates will receive a confirmation email at their registered email address.
PwBD candidates should make sure to select only those post(s) that are designated as appropriate for their disabilities (as outlined in Para 5.1 of the Examination Notice). Posts will be assigned based on the ‘merit-cum-preference of posts’ criteria, as specified in the Examination Notice.

- Go to the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
- Click on the login link and enter your credentials.
- Press submit, and the preference form will appear.
- Review the form and complete it.
- Click submit and download the confirmation page.
- Save a printed copy for future reference.
